-Inspiration-
We welcome this week's Guest Designer,
a sweet gal and great friend,

HOWDY ALL!
I am Kim aka Me-Ma Kim in the blog world. I live in Mid-Missouri and am a Daughter, Sister, Wife and Mother. BUT, my fave thing is being a Me-Ma to 4 FABULOUS Grandkids, who are the subjects of most of my layouts. I have been scrapbooking for almost 15 years now. My first scrapbook was for my Daughter’s 16th birthday and to look at it now, I just have to laugh at all the stickers!! I am just THRILLED to be a Guest DT for The Paper Variety this week.
Thanks BUNCHES Abby and Suzanne for giving me this opportunity.
What a super cute project, Kim!! Love your patterns and diecuts, and especially your fun sentiment!
Thanks so much for joining our team this week :)

Check out Team A's spooky cute Halloween projects!
Eat Crow Halloween card. A digi stamp colored with colored pencils.

We don't celebrate Halloween in Australia much...so i decided to make an easy card.
Halloween is such a fun holiday to scrapbook.  I always get to make fun kooky (not to say Spooky) cards for my nieces, and this year, i decided to make candy-filled cards using recycled packaging and fun papers and embellishments from the Funtoolas October kit (where i am a featured guest this month).  Have a happy and safe Halloween everyone!!!

Suzanne
I love Halloween!! I made this card front from acetate to make the ghost appear like he's flying around haunting the graveyard ;)

Abby
I went through all my spooky ghosts, cute pumpkins and creepy spiders.. but somethin just told me to go with a nice card with traditional colors. Plain and simple and I like it :)

Now it's your turn! :)

a {{recipe}} challenge!

Good  morning! I love October and this time of year :) I'm so excited to carve pumpkins with my cousin and her two little ones this weekend. I hope to get some great pics for scrapbooking !!  This photo inspired this week's {{recipe}} challenge:

Easy cheesy, right?!

Wahoo!! 20 more reasons to join this week's challenge hehe ;)

I was so thrilled to see my 5 fellow team B designers create ROCKIN' layouts !!

Whenever I want to make something a little smaller, I dig out my Studio Calico wood veneer frames. They are the perfect size for small projects like this one! I also did a lot of painting with mist here-including the frames, chipboard piece, and leaves. This is my first attempt to hand stitch on a layout and although it is not straight and it took a REALLY long time (I am not very good at sewing) I like the way it turned out and it is something I would definitely do again!

                                                Jamilie

I had a lot of fun with this challenge! I ended up making a pumpkin with my Cricut, and then embossing it with my Cuttlebug! I used some burlap and some fun accents. Fall is one of my favorite seasons, and with this being my first Fall layout of this year I cannot wait to work on some more!
We don't celebrate Halloween much, so for this challenge I have scrapbooked photos of me and my brother from the only year that we celebrated Halloween. As we don't celebrate it, I don't have any embellishments that suited Halloween, so I made the pumpkin embellishment myself. I have kept the page quite simple, and have stuck to the limit of 3 buttons and a two word title. I look forward to seeing your projects this week. Head over to my blog for more details on this layout.

I had to be different.. lol.. I made a treat bag for my student teacher... SHH don't tell her ;)

We can't wait to see what you come up with for our "recipe" challenge.

One entry per person please. Link up before Sunday evening for a chance to have your blog featured and before Tuesday at noon for a chance at the prize from Scraptastic Club.

Want to be a guest designer for an upcoming challenge? Link your project to our Facebook wall and let us know! :)

Have a great week.
